The DFE SmartPac™
DFE Technologies SmartPacs are a rugged storage and distribution solution for digital cinema content. They have been designed from the ground up for ease of use and durability in the digital cinema distribution and exhibition environment.
Each SmartPac contains two drives - a 250 or 640 gigabyte SATA drive used for content storage, and a separate 512 megabyte flash drive that stores drive performance and user-defined data. The unique performance analysis capability of the SmartPac is an integral part of the DFE Technologies distribution system, and will benefit both independent exhibitors and major chains.
Both drives are encased in a protective milled aluminum shell with no exposed connectors. Each SmartPac includes a rugged shipping case which simplifies distribution to and from exhibitors.
